Sheraz Persian Restaurant

Sheraz – شيراز

Last weekend we went out to eat a late dinner at a Persian Restaurant called Sheraz. It was really lovely.

I’ve mentioned before how much I love the family section seating here in KSA. This restaurant in particular had a really lovely setup. It was basically a rounded couch on one side with a circular table and two chairs on the other. It was similar to a booth, but with a wooden partition that closed for privacy. It was so comfortable.

We ordered various dishes to share including chicken, lamb, rice, okra, hummus, rice and more. The meats came out on a small grill that had hot charcoals on the bottom to keep the food warm. Everything was delicious.

I loved the style of this restaurant. It has such a nice ambiance and I loved looking at all of the decor. My favorite was this lantern type light fixture in the entrance. It made such a beautiful pattern on the ceiling and walls around it. The lantern itself was also quite spectacular with its metal pattern and blue jewels.

I feel like eating out here is not just about the food, but also about the experience. There are so many fantastic restaurants that provide nice seating and an interesting environment. To top it all off all of the restaurants that I have been to so far have been very well priced considering the portion size and delicious taste of the food.

I’m looking forward to sharing more restaurant adventures here, in sha Allah.

الحمدلله
