TESOL – Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

In 2012 I graduated with my Masters in TESOL at the age of 21. Since then I have been independently tutoring international students, specifically with writing. It is so interesting and extremely rewarding.

Did you know that these days the number of people learning English exceeds the number of people who are native speakers?
Isn’t that incredible?

Did you know that English is an official language in at least:
12 countries in the Caribbean
23 countries in Africa
12 countries in Oceania
 4 countries in Asia

As a native speaker of English I want to remind other native speakers that English is an international language. We have to accept, acknowledge and appreciate different dialects.

[Dialects are differences in pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary]
